PDPA Compliance Statement
This statement outlines how Cazimir helps organizations comply with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) when using third-party AI services.
1. Cazimir as a Data Processor
When you use our Service, Cazimir acts as a Data Processor on your behalf. You, the customer, are the Data Controller. This means you determine the purposes and means of processing personal data, and we process that data based on your instructions and in accordance with our Terms of Service and your configuration of the Service.
2. How Cazimir Supports PDPA Compliance
Cazimir provides several features designed to help you meet your PDPA obligations:
- Data Minimization: Our core feature is the redaction of personal data from prompts before they are sent to AI models. This helps you adhere to the principle of data minimization by ensuring that only necessary data is processed.
- Purpose Limitation: By controlling the data sent to AI models, you can better ensure that the processing aligns with the purposes you have disclosed to data subjects.
- Security: We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect the data processed through our Service. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.
- Accountability: The Cazimir dashboard provides audit logs of AI usage, including what data was redacted and when. This helps you maintain a record of processing activities as required by the PDPA.
3. Customer Responsibilities
While Cazimir provides tools to assist with compliance, you as the Data Controller remain ultimately responsible for your organization’s compliance with the PDPA. Your responsibilities include:
- Establishing a legal basis for processing personal data.
- Informing data subjects about your data processing activities.
- Configuring Cazimir’s redaction rules to meet your specific needs and legal obligations.
- Responding to data subject requests (e.g., for access, correction, or deletion of their data).
4. Sub-processors
Cazimir uses a limited number of third-party sub-processors to provide our Service, such as cloud hosting and payment processing. We have data processing agreements in place with these sub-processors to ensure they meet our security and privacy standards.
5. Contact
For questions about this statement or our data processing practices, please contact us at info@cazimir.com.
