Cazimir Corp (“Cazimir,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at cazimir.com and use our AI underwriting platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect includes:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, company name, and job title, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Services or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Services (such as booking a working session).
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Services, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Services.
  • Client Submission Data: Data contained within insurance submission packages (ACORDs, SOVs, loss runs, etc.) uploaded to our platform by our clients. Processing of this data is governed by our Terms of Use and specific Master Service Agreements with our clients.

2. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our Services.
  • Improve, personalize, and expand our Services, including through the use of de-identified, aggregated data to improve our machine learning models, as described in the section “How We Use Data to Improve Our AI” below.
  • Understand and analyze how you use our Services.
  • Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Services, and for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Process your transactions and manage your account.

3. How We Use Data to Improve Our AI

  • Cazimir is a learning platform. Corrections and validations made by a client’s team improve the platform’s performance for that client’s own organization, within that client’s isolated tenant environment.
  • In addition, we use de-identified, aggregated data to improve the platform’s general document-understanding capabilities — such as recognizing common insurance document formats and improving extraction accuracy — for the benefit of all clients. Before any data is used this way, we remove:
    • All personal data (including insured, applicant, and claimant information);
    • All information identifying a client, its users, or its business relationships;
    • All information reflecting a client’s underwriting criteria, risk appetite, or commercial terms.
  • Personal data contained in client submission documents is never used to train models deployed for any other client. Clients may opt out of de-identified shared learning under their Master Service Agreement. Each client’s Master Service Agreement governs the use of that client’s data and prevails over this Policy in the event of any conflict.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing assistance.
  • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
